Raoul and Yvo always have crazy (business) ideas and are subsequently looking for ways to realize them. Luckily most of the times they were distracted by other bigger or better ideas, until - by the beginning of 2010 - they jointly concluded this idea - which we all now call Fanity - was something they needed to focus on and realize. By combining their best skills they will pursue everything in their power to make Fanity big and successful.

Yvo Schaap, co-founder and CEO

Yvo oversees all technical development for Fanity. He is a serial entrepreneur with an MScBA who has been creating businesses as long as he has been coding. Most notably, while a student at Erasmus University in The Netherlands, he created the Dutch university information site Kiesjestudie. Currently he is still also running DirectLyrics which is a licensed lyrics sites listed #13 in the Comscore music properties (US, Nov 2010) with over 20 million unique visitors per month. Prior to DirectLyrics, he created another lyrics property which he sold to LiveUniverse in 2007. [Blog]

Raoul Kiksen, co-founder (resigned)

Raoul was responsible for company operations, finance, artist relations and marketing. Prior to Fanity, he was the founder and CEO of Greenbookings.com, the world's first "sustainable travel" agency. [LinkedIn]

Raoul and Yvo met while working together on Greenbookings.com and started working on Fanity in the beginning of 2010 which launched publicly in December 2010.
